We always try to meet the expectation of our customer, but if in case you are not satisfied with their order, we offer a convenient return and have a very flexible policy for the return of the product.
we request you to consider that each Product is handcrafted and unique in its own manner; an irregular weave, print or stitch cannot be regarded as a defect. This will help you decide whether to return a product or not. By definition, a handicraft infers a beautiful pattern lacking uniformity. Because they are characteristic to the handmade process, flaws or imperfections in the result cannot be considered defects. Several items (fabrics) are made of natural colours and may bleed during the first few washes, requiring careful handling. To prolong the life of the Product, kindly adhere to the care directions provided. This return and refund policy outlines the procedures and policies for returning products that have been purchased from the Culturalkart platform. Any returns or refunds for products by customers will be governed by and subject to the terms and conditions set out in this policy. Customers are required to read and understand the terms of this policy. If you have any concerns regarding the terms of this policy, you are advised not to accept the Terms of Use and may leave and stop using the Platforms by signing in to the Culturalkart website you automatically adhering the terms set in here. By initiating a request to purchase products on the Platforms, you agree to the terms of this policy without modification.
Also, please remember that is a marketplace where most sellers are small master weavers, cooperatives and artisan entrepreneurs. As small businesses, it becomes difficult for them to accept customer returns, as often the products are not returned in their original condition. Therefore, customers are requested to initiate the return process when the Product is not up to standard.

Below are the details of our return policy:

  2. No exchange / return is applicable on international orders. For any size related queries please feel free to contact us before you place an order.
  3. If you’d like to make changes to existing details in the order such as your size, delivery address or phone number, please reach us at with the subject “Order Number + Revised information”. We will only facilitate the same if it hasn’t been shipped

4.      Item is eligible for an exchange request only once per order.

  1. No cancellations will be accepted after 24 hours of the order being placed.
  2. Refunds can only be granted if a request for a refund has been made within 7 days of delivery of the Product.

7.      If user has initiated the return or exchange after 7 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund or return of the product.

  1. Not all products are eligible for returns or exchange. Products purchased during any sale cannot be exchanged/returned. ACCESSORIES cannot be exchanged/returned.

9.      In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should email us at with the photos & video of the damaged product within 24 hours of receiving your order.


  1. Only items that are unused, in their original condition and with all original tags and packaging intact may be returned or exchanged (with the brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).
  2. CulturalKart team will check and verify  the returned / exchanged product through the proofs provided by the buyer and hence approve your return or exchange request and up on arrival of product to respective seller / store, Seller will inspect it and it will undergo a thorough quality inspection and if it passes through, we will process your request and process your refund/return, if it fails the quality process no refund will be provided, During pick-up, our delivery agent may check the return quality as well for a second check. So as to maintain transparency.
  3. Reverse pickups are either arranged by us in the serviceable reverse pickup zones, for non serviceable reverse pickup zones customer will have to ship the parcel to the respective Seller address mentioned on the invoice and strictly share the tracking id at, with order details as well as invoice attached with the same mail,  without which there might be a delay or cancellation in return & refund.
  4. Returns will not be entertained in the following cases:
    • It is determined that the Product got damaged while in your possession.
    • The Product is different from what was shipped to you.
    • The Product is not intact in its original packaging.
    • The Product has already been used by the Customer in any way.
  5. No refunds would be given if the Customer provided the wrong or incomplete shipping address, there were two failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency or the package was refused by the recipient.

  8. Regarding refunds, banks normally take 7–10 business days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end.
  9. The money will be refunded through the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase ++ we insist you to kindly share your UPI Id as well as cancel cheque copy for processing refund.
